It's a town, but I would almost describe it as an overgrown village. Your friend is likely to go camping somewhere like Emberton Park, which is a camping site just outside Olney (where the pancake race supposedly originated, incidentally), a town a bit further outside Milton Keynes.

Oh good idea! Take a tape measure also! I wish I thought of bringing a tape measure when we looked round our flat as then we would have known certain things such as window lengths; where as now we have to wait until we're in there before we can get blinds.

I'm not from Devon but if I was Viv I would say that I was in a previous life. Every time I go to the place where I always stay I feel like I am going home. There isn't anywhere else that I feel as healthy, happy and comfortable. I wish I was moving to Devon.

(Although I do still feel a but guilty about handing my notice in in the middle of a busy time, but then again * it - look after number one!)
