Martin O'Neill, Martin O'Neill...

I miss him. We've got a guy now who likes to make his midfielders stand still.

Hooray, a man who mocked American tourists the day after 9/11 and spits and stamps on opponents during games is the new England captain.

It could only be Rio or Terry, they are the only leaders who are regulars in the England team. JT didnt do to well in helping us to qualify for the euros did he?

Captaincy's pointless in football anyway, all they do is call heads or tails.

I dont actually think he is a leader of men. Amazing player, but dont think he should be England captain

As captain he has lead his team to more then trophies then anyone in the current England team so that's why I think he should be captain of England, also he hasn't been in any major drama off the pitch unlike Terry and Rio which I also think is important.

but guess we will have to agree to disagree on this

I think Terry's history with the US Tourists and Ferdinand's history regarding drugs (and ban) should rule both of them out. I agree with button that Gerrard should be captain...

I'm thinking that it is surely a good situation when there are at least three solid contenders for the job?

Can't believe we couldn't even beat the plastic paddys when they were down to ten men. What made it worse was I had no faith, stuck a couple of quid on Healy as first goalscorer, and McGregor went and saved the penalty!

Aston Villa can lick my * scrotum if they don't score in the next 10 minutes. Ok, so we are drawing now but they better score again!

Hiding to nothing in that game Cat, Stoke's first home game in the top flight since Yuds was fighting off dinosaurs was always going to be difficult. As for my lot, I would trot out the "winning and playing badly is the sign of a good team" but that's only true if you play well now and again...

Still, Spurs.

Hahahahahahahhahaha

Played some nice stuff today, and with Rangers dropping points in Aberdeen and Hamilton slumping to a 1-0 defeat, we are back where we belong :D

Going on a date with a Bristol fan to the Cov. game possibly wasn't my wisest decision. I sat in the away stand and I hated it. Stupid Bristol.

Honestly, it can still happen!!! Fulham are a tough team

Although if AC Milan buy Senderos and we get Alonso, it could just be possible.......

I can see why 20 million would be a useful addition to Liverpool's "throwing money away" project, but Alonso would be a bad player to sell. He's better than Gareth Barry anyway.
