The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Hi,

I'm Griff - aka, The Smoothound.

I run a blog over at http://www.smoothound.org/blog . The idea behind the blog is to have a daily rant about whatever crosses my mind on my 3 hours of commuting every day. As a huge Moyles fan, this quite often includes my thoughts on the show or topics which have come up as a result....or often totally unrelated stuff.

Anyway, go have a look and see if you like it. All comments welcomed (just click COMMENT!) :D

Right, I'm off to go trawl the board! Cheers!

Perhaps you could rant about Jono's ridiculous 'donation' system on UnofficialMills.

Welcome, by the way.

I agree about the relentless plugging of events, but I quite enjoyed the Singstar stuff, even if it was terrible product placement.

Hi, my name is Mark and I am 23 years old. I enjoy a nice bit of shepherds pie and I have a very healthy DVD and CD collection. I also own a SNES, N64, PS2, Wii and a DS. I only really get to listen to about 30 mins of Moyles a day, due to the route by bus goes, having rubbish radio reception, which I think is a bit rubbish, and surely in 2008 radio reception shouldn't still cut out when you go under a bridge, but I digress!
I also enjoy drinking cider, and I try to drink enough on a weekend so it counts towards my 5-a-day.
People would probably say I am a bit weird but I think I am just a bit misunderstood!

So hello, hi, and hey!
I hope you all welcome me with open arms instead of clenched fists :)

Hi Mark. Welcome and I agree about radio reception and bridges! Few of us actually have clenched fists as long as you're not a twat and abide by the rules!

I'm from Newcastle but I live in Bristol now with my wife Nina and our Bull Mastiff " Mooch ". A bit gutted today, though, because we had tickets for the M-Festival in Warwicks but we can't go cos the " Biff " has taken ill so I've got her tucked up in bed instead and I'm running around with Tomato soup and Cosmo mags for her! :0( The tickets are on the door,if anyone wants them? They're yours! Jamie

Hi Im Helen from sunny Burnley in Lancashire! I LOVE Moylsey, he has helped me wake up every morning for the past few years. He really wakes me on my long journeys for work every day. Being a Quantity Surveyor means long journeys at silly o'clock in the morning, so Chris is always cheeky and chirpy early enough to aid my matchsticks propping my eyelids open!

Im 26, i live with my fiance in our beautiful house with our menagerie consisting of, Scooby the mongy mutt, Daisy the cutest hamster youve ever clapped eyes on, and a few thousand fish (some have names, but i wont bore you with all that!) and many million spiders in the back garden.

Anyway, enough about me, I jusy wanna say that Chris Moyles rules, I know people call him but hes funny, witty and speaks his mind. The only gripe i have is that he has never once read out any or my texts or emails on the show, but ill let him off for that as he must be inundated constantly!!!!!

Keep up the good work Chris

Love Helen xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Paddy B soton 38yrs. At the end of the show today chris played some of the jaguar skills mix. Well i then drove around the corner to my next drop (i fill coca cola machines) & i was getting bottles of my van when i heard someone behind me talking, i was well suprised to see it was none other than Mr keith "WAHEY" Chegwin talking on his mobile. I'd only just heard him "WAHEYING" on the radio but i didn't say anything to him. Once he'd finished talking he went back into Nevada music in farlington but i did not see him when i went back in.

Hello my name is Simon, I live in Leeds I am 30 years old, have listened to Moyles since 2000 when he did afternoons (which I still miss him doing especially as that Mills bloke is now ruining) listen to the whole show and is the best thing on a morning. I love Leeds Utd, Leeds Rhinos as Chris should as we are reigning super league champions and not those national one losers Featherstone and love beer, beer, beer!! and Chris should bring back The Viaduct!!!!
