The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Piers Morgan has now hit back at cuddly Moyles, after the public feud between himself and Jonathan Ross, when Ross claimed he isn't the person to judge "Britain's Got Talent".

Moyles recently told R1 listeners, "Piers Morgan is the most deluded person on the Planet".

Now Piers has hit back with this:

"Chris Moyles has hurled his podgy frame into my feud. It would have been slightly more credible if the same Chris Moyles hadn't fawned all over me like a lovesick puppy when we met by chance at Gatwick Airport earlier this year," Morgan wrote in his Live magazine column.

"I don't mind you ranting about me on air, Lardy Boy, but I suspect your dwindling army of fans would rather see a more consistent, and indeed courageous, policy when we next come face to face."

Oh dear.

While I accept that Moyles is not everyones cup of tea and who may annoy / antagonise some folk - Piers Morgan is a dispicable person who made a career out of destroying lives and passing it off as "news".

I don't care what he has done since then - the fact that anyone has given him a job is something short of amazing. Personally, how anyone can care whither or not he should be judging some rediculous talent show is beyond me. Him, and a whole host of others in the 'news'paper industry should be in jail.

The "dwindling army of fans" was the bit that got me. I mean, hardly!! He's the most consistent DJ at R1 at the current moment.

I'm not convinced he was 'born' as such.

Created in the cesspits of hell and vomited into the land of the living perhaps, but no - I don't think he was 'born'.

Here's a joke to lighten the mood: What happened to the frog's broken down car? Answer = it got toad away.

What really narks me is that people can't criticise Moyles without referring to his weight. If you wanna have a go at him do, but find a more original angle! That said, he does it about other people's weight too so I guess he's just getting back what he gives out. Still, it's lazy writing.

Surely you mean 'act', not 'art'.

I agree. If the best Morgan can come up with is a weight slur perhaps he should look in the mirror 1st (no pun intended!)

He's no Mr Universe himself!

It's one thing to intellectually disagree with someone, but entirely different to resort to basic school ground name calling!

That said...Posh, chinless, slimy w*nker!

It annoys me that he is now famous for being the person everyone loves to hate - like it's alright?! Therefore, me not likeing him is exactly what he wants.

This irritates me.

Me too!

On the other hand, now he has thrust himself into the celebrity circus, we can look forward to the inevitable awful kiss and tell type stories that he's made his fortune on! I would love to see the tables turned!!

You hate him for entirely different reasons to those he would like you to hate him for though.

I actually find Piers Morgan very funny. Wouldn't want him in charge of anything but he does amuse me. I'm gathering this will be a controversial declaration though. LOVED his talk at the closing of the Olympics "Ping Pong's coming home". hahahaha

I hope that he was only there cos some half arsed television channel (prob ITV) needed a character to put on the screen so that the numbskulls that watch their channel can associate the nice colourful pictures they are seeing with the cheap ass 'entertainment' show that apparently assures us that Britain has indeed Got Talent.

I hope he was NOT their giving a speech and basically being the public face of the UK. Thankfully, we are not all as evil and calculating as that lame excuse of a man. The same goes for all the other tossers that work in the newspaper industry.

Oh, another thing that annoys me... people who buy newspapers, but when I ask them why they buy, for example, The Sun, when it is full of made up nonsense, they reply with "I know it is made up, I know it isn't reliable, but I just like having something to read!". BUY A FECKING BOOK!

Why do so many people read the 'Dear Deirdre' or 'Just Joan' problem pages with such enthusiasm?

"Dear Joan. I had sex with my dad and now I think I might be gay. My mum caught me in bed with my brother but just laughed it off saying it was 'all part of growing up'."

IT'S ALL MADE UP! Then of course you SAY to someone 'but you realise it's all made up don't you?" and they say "Yes! Course I do, I just like reading it!" Aaarrrgggh!

The longer people accept that the papers inventing and exaggerating stories is ok, the worse it will get. They are NOT here to inform readers of news (regardless of what they call themselves). They are here to sell papers. I have no problem with that. I DO have a problem with being told that Britney has shaved her hair off qualifies as news. If you want to sell celebrity gossip papers, go sell them! And call them that!

As a final point on this - I've just had a quick check to see what the main stories are at 12:30 on a Tuesday morning. At least I now know that Jade is off to see her dads grave. Look at the menu on the right - Big Brother comes above News?!?! I know I don't approve of internet jargon but seriously... WTF?

I'm actually quite enjoying this.

Wasn't that Boris Johnson?
