I had a phone call last night from my old house mate - she asked me to be godfather to their daughter. I'm already godfather to their son.
I was really touched, and a bit guilty that I really should make more of an effort (although they do live 200 miles away...)

I've already run a couple of miles by the sea, and I'm feeling great. I picked up my new glasses this morning, and it's wonderful actually being able to see the World. Yeh heh!! I've bought my stationery for college, and it looks as though I will start part-time on Sept. 8th. :-)
