this year has been awsome anyone agree? ive discovered soooo many good new bands its shocking
such as

The Von Bondies
Flogging Molly
The Libertines
Parva
The Vines
Easyworld
Catalyst (Leeds group who should be huge- must download)
Mr Shiraz (Huddersfield punk-ska group who sound like the bastard son of motorhead and madness)

plus amazing albums from...

Queens of the stone age - Songs for the deaf (superb)
The Streets - Original pirate material (blinding BOO)
Feeder- comfort in sound (heartbreaking)

can it get better?

to be honest i think this year is a good start more diverse music in the charts i think. hopefully it can only get better the tweenies are out soon....

I too agree that it has been a great year for music but ive only started getting in too (proper) music in the last year.

the year of 2002 has been a good year for music but i hate the European Trance that keeps going into the charts i.e. Ian Van Dahl, Scooter, DJ Sammy.
But it can get better because the new Nas album is out soon. Yaaaaaay

Coldplays album is good but "songs for the deaf" in a dark room with no lights on....is nice!

i was about to buy songs for the deaf when it first came out but i hadnt heard any songs from it. subsequently i heard no one knows and decided to get it off winmx. i have their first album so it counts for something i suppose.
