Is there a means of viewing what you have written straight away? You have to write it out, submit it, then view it, whereas I have noticed on UM that you submit, and you can see your post instantly. Just wondered.

No, um don't have the preview. You just post your stuff, submit, and it's there in your face instantly. It's just a matter of type, submit, it's there, and if you've got it wrong, you can edit in any section of the Board. It's quicker.

As far as I know, there's no board setting that will allow individuals to skip that three second page. If you want to check your posts for errors quicker, you'll just have to use the 'Preview' function (like you're supposed to).

As she said on Um when doing a quick reply it does just take a few seconds to process then just jumps to main thread. No intermediary page or anything.

Oh, right. UM use vB don't they. vB uses AJAX functions to post/edit messages without loading a whole new page. The answers still 'no' of course, as we're not using vB here and as far as I'm aware, there's not AJAX mod for phpBB3.
