i started posting April/may 2001 but i remember reading this site a while before..."Emails sent to chris" was legendary...especially half way through Ad posts something along the lines that "chris may be too busy to reply to your emails!" when somebody had said along the lines of that on the 4th reply!

Gather round the fire children and listen to unlce jonny

Thomas Murphy and Me made Moyleworld fun. He was a great competitor and constnatly whooped arse in post wars. he was the daddy, but he had more resources than me. i would have whooped his arse. I hold the record for posting sprees. Beware there could be one coming up.

In the time of Murphy the moylesworld message board was full of stalkers and other assorted loons, until myself and murphy added huge elements of irrelevance to the board. Post racing was the norm and Stickyspanner was the omnipresent voice of the board, not Uglybob. In fact, in the early days of Moylesworld, Stickyspanner, Clare and Murphy were the daddies of them all.

Moylesworld was ok back then, but its better now. I've never known the board to be so busy apart from the times when myslef and murphy would constantly respond to each other.

Here's to the old and the new days...

Posting sprees are nothing to be proud of. I wasnt omnipresent at the time for a good point. I was still paying for internet access at the time and because of this place I ran up a bill of £186. Its better now because basically people back then thought they were funny, ironic and different when in fact they were simply annoying and unfunny.
