I used to get random issues like this, but since Topher and others recommended Firefox as a browser all my computer issues have been sorted out, it spell checks all posts for you, and also allows to to automatically wipe which sites you have been looking at when you exit, which is *cough *cough, keeps the computer tidy.

Er - apropos of nothing, how do you activate this, or is it a default option.....? No reason.

I think it's Tools -> Options and then Privacy off the top of my head, there should be a tickbox to 'Always clear private data when Firefox closes' or something similar.
