How much are Scottish Gas charging you for the privilege of leaving them?

Don't know about Scottish Gas. A friend of mine moved from n-power (interestingly) a couple of years ago and got a bill for disconnection, cancellation of contract, administrative charges and some other stuff - it was close to £300. And this arrived 8 months after she changed, and n-power had told her there were no outstanding charges. Small print is a nasty thing.

Not only that but having spent quite a few years working in the Gas and Electricity area I can tell you that sooner or later Npower will have to raise their prices as well. I can't be bothered with changing so I just stick with the people who don't * up my bill.
