Anyone else suffering with a lack of Moyles? Podcasts are helping, but its no cure!

Withdrawal symptoms. Some. 2 weeks isn't a long period of time however.

I don't like the way the Boards go too quiet during Moyles' absences. Luckily, I'm on several Boards now, and like more than one DJ. :-)

See this is an example of a disappointing thread which had a promising title.

I think it's a good topic with a good title. It will be interesting to see to what point people miss him.

I'm not sure. I did see a baby crawling on my ceiling last night, and when its head turned 180 degrees to stare right at me it had the face of Chris Moyles.

Then again, that might just have been a spider.

This week has been the one week I have been up before 6:30 every day, only to hear Scott Mills on the air.
Radio 2 it is, then - although I can't stand Sarah Kennedy.

I've been listening to CDs or Five Live in the mornings.

I've been going to bed early. Just as well really. School has started and my youngest needs to be up at 6 to catch the 7AM bus.

I've been up at 6am the last couple of weeks. Honestly, Scott Mills is actually an improvement on the first half hour.

At least Greg James is back next week.

Edit: You may have noticed the 6am starts have affected me. What a stupid time this is to be up on a Saturday!

Can't disagree with that. I wish they'd let Greg do breakfast when Chris is off. It would be better than Mills anyway. But that appalling troll who is covering early breakfast really needs to be sent back to her job in Asda.

Only a week to go now!!! Getting sweaty palms just thinking about it!! :D

I agree with above statement that Greg should be first choice to cover any of the saviours holidays. Do like Greg, was good to have him back this morning for my hour and half before the Moyles (Mills?) show starts....

Look, I'm not saying I think Greg James is all that brilliant, he has developed his version of Early Breakfast into a good show though and I would rather listen to him than Mills anyday. I still miss JK and Joel though.

Personally, I am getting a bit fed up with "musical chair syndrome" at R1. Today, Scott is in for Chris, Colin is in for Sara who is in for Edith, Nihal is in for Scott. Maybe one of these days, we can get back to some level of stability.

No - there's a couple of weeks yet to the equinox, which marks the start of autumn. I think its the 23rd....?

At least Chris should be back for the rest of the year after this holiday. With Edith not quite back, Jo ready to pop, and Scott due a holiday again soon, he might be the only stable one!

Having said that, it was good to hear Colin Murray in the afternoon again. I always preferred him to Edith.
