I was reading on Thursday about a man who met his wife on a website, then went on to win £2m with a lottery ticket purchased on-line! Needless to say, he absolutely loves the Internet!!

Have you ever won anything on-line to date, or done anything that has resulted in an unexpected surprise? :-)

I thought this might be about Abba! How disappointing..

I made the title an Abba song title on purpose. Clearly, it hasn't worked. :-(

Haha, sorry... I'm now singing Abba to myself if that helps?

I had an internet girlfriend once. Weirdly, despite us initially being separated by the Irish Sea it was when she went to St Andrews Uni that the distance became a problem. Although I did have to laugh when Scott Mills was giving out the advice for those going off to uni but currently in a relationship. I'm sure at one point it was mentioned that it won't last much beyond Christmas - and only that long to make sure you get the pressies. We split up in January of her 1st year.

Still, on the plus side, Comedy Dave says she's a mentalist.

Anyway, point being, the internet has not brought me a wife, so I don't expect it to bring me riches either. And to date it hasn't. Although I did win money on PaddyPower.com last weekend when Kenny Miller scored his first goal for Rangers. Against us. I knew he'd do that, he did it to them last time for us. Still, I'm not bitter. I hope the wee Judas bastard bags a hat trick today.

I went to a wedding the other week of two people who got together just before they went off to separate unis, a long way apart. And I can think of at least five other long term couples who successfully chose to maintain their relationships through a university separation.

There's only one thing to consider in those circumstances - do you want to screw around or not? If you do, break up. If you don't, stay together. This whole "debate" - although it really doesn't qualify as such - is pathetic even by Scott Mills' ludicrously low standards.

I'm going to apply for Bournemouth Uni because there is a course there that is good and I'd like to do but also in case Elmo and I are still together and I'd rather be with him than separated but I don't know if it'll change in a few months. All I know is long distance does not work well for me.

Bournemouth's where Rach went y'know.

I met my best friend on the internet - he and I have such a close relationship, I think in another life we would have got married, but it's not to be. Still, I never thought I'd meet someone who would turn out to be so special to me that way.
