Vivienne wrote: My lecturer has a "thing" about purple websites -i.e. say no to purple! Such a pity as this was my planned colour.
We have until Sept. 30th to decide on what the website is gonna be.

If it was me, I would have already decided - and it would be very very purple. Which is why its probably a good thing that Viv is doing this course, not me.

Despite what he says, my planned website (which will be R1-related) will indeed contain purple, lilacs and blues. I've bought some good old-fashioned crayons in different colours, so I can visualise it all. :-)

Viv, you don't need to draw on the screen to create a web site.

O don't be so ridiculous. You will be welcome to join in when it happens - providing you obey my rules and show respect for others.

I now have a picture of Viv with a bottle of Typex dabbing at her monitor to correct her typing, *giggling now.

Viv, just a primary school teacher, but as I was just telling Yuds on msn, I've been helping in a school in a really deprived area of Coventry, and I dread to think what the kids are going home to. Some of them don't even know the alphabet properly, and I just wanted to take them home and ttry and make their lives better. I don't know what I can do to help, but I'm determined to do something.

Never say you're "just" anything. You're already doing more than most people would. :-)

What a cracking game tonight, to think - Theo Walcott was the wonder kid and under Arsene Wenger has become a legend, certainly after tonight. Brilliant game, Capello has delivered and given us new hope for 2010. :)

I've just realised that not only have I been listening to Cliff Richard for the past 15 minutes, I've also been humming along. How do I know all his music?!

And is it really so funny that we don't talk anymore?

The knowledge that my commuting to Fife is now at an end.

Also, the knowledge that I'm only back in the office tomorrow and then I'm on holiday for three weeks.
