On Saturday, the BBC were looking at "Most Annoying Pop Songs", including R.E.M.'s "Shiny Happy People" and Dire Straits "Money For Nothing".

What for you is a particularly annoying pop song?

Anything with speeded up "Chipmunk" type vocals that aren't actually supposed to be funny.

The ones that are supposed to be funny are still annoying, but less so than the ones that aren't.

Some of Chris Martin's songs as well. Not all: the lyrics are beautiful, but sometimes he sounds exactly like a cat howling during the night.

I think 'exactly' is the wrong choice of word. 'Nothing' would be more accurate.
