Is it just me that doesn't quite 'get' why they do these sorta special weeks? What makes it that different for me, the listener, that they are speaking into a microphone on the other side of the planet? I don't quite follow.

Don't get me wrong, I think that it will provide them with lots of amusing stories, different comedy situations that they get into and that they might manage to get guests from the other side of the pond that they wouldn't normally get to talk to, however - is it gonna make a huge difference?

That said, if I was told I had to go to LA for an expenses paid trip, I wouldn't knock it!

Having said that earlier in the week, I would like to add that while I still don't totally understand the reason they were in LA in the first place, this week has been cracking to listen to.

I loved the shows and especially the daily podcasts. Ideally I'd just like to hear the team chatting and skip out the songs altogether!

I think while most people on here would be more than happy if the show came from a shed at the bottom of Dom's garden for a week, the rest of the general audience love the guests and this week was a guest fest. Apart from JJ Abrams there wasn't anyone who hadn't been on before but the guests were all fans of the show who got the humour so there weren't any low points. The show kept on a big high all week long. It's easier to get guests in if they think they've only got a week to do it.

Best video has to be Trapped on the stairs.
