The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Did anyone notice the tone of Chris' voice when he said 'can I go now' to Jo Whiley at 10am today? He sounded angry at her, obviously he heard nicola and kimberley speak their mind, and jo openly supported the girls having a go at him in her show yesterday for his constant criticism of nicola, it sounded like jo doesn't like him much either. maybe he should invite kimberley on to the breakfast show with paramedics on stand by, now that would be a show, those girls are tough up north.

I did find it uncomfortable listening to moyles carry on about her yesterday near the end of his show, especially when everyone knew she was listening, he's obsessed with bitching about her. he came across as a vile bully and I know he isn't really like that, he should learn to keep his mouth shut once in a while or in a year we may be waking up to the Dave & Dom Breakfast Show.

You're first post, dimitar. What a cracking one. I can definitely feel the love for the Moyles!

Tell me, why have you come here today?

I don't care what he says about Nicola or any other "celebrity" - but I have to say there have been more than a few occasions when I have thought exactly that myself. I really don't think it will lead to his downfall though!

It'll be a frustrated journalist sniffing round the bins for scraps, probably from the Daily Star.

I didn't listen in depth, but I did hear a few things...

1) he was 'in' the Tardis
2) he was playing the Tardis background sound effect
3) He asked something like "can we go now, I have my finger on the button"
4) when he said "can we go now" he will have been meaning that he was going to play the whooshing noise of the Tardis leaving. Jo, in all her DJing excellence, will have totally missed this and played the jingle to start her show. I also notice that he faded her down then back up again as he will have been thinking that he could get away with the gag, but then realising it was too late.

Not that I'm a geek or anything though, but listen back to it and tell me I'm wrong.

I seriously hope even the Daily Star has better resources than cm.net for the latest gossip!

That said, normally they just make it up anyways, and that's what we do.

That sounds spot on to me, thats what I thought, he was trying to do an ending that fitted the theme of Dr Who.

I got it, yep. There are flaws on both sides. Chris obsesses too much over females, and Jo Whiley is so bloody serious: more like an office manager than a DJ.

No, I decided to go off into my own little world for a second, or two. ;-)

Am I the only one who likes the sound of that? :D

Oh, and I definitely agree with foot loose, it sounded like Moyles wanted to play the Tardis sound effect at the end of the show, and Whiley started her show instead. She's such a brilliant DJ ain't she?
