Right, early thoughts on today's internationals...

Any country whose national anthem singer intersperses their anthem with "COME ONNNNNN!" deserves to get humped.

I believe she did, she put him on ebay after getting fed up with him taking up too much space in the living room.

My response was "Ha, serves you right for leaving us in the lurch you bastard". And don't get me started on him pretending to be Scottish.

Colchester made me cry again. I'm getting used to it.

Wasn't he born in Coatbridge? I'm fairly sure that's in Haggisland.

Dave Vitty was born in Hong Kong - doesn't make him Chinese.

Not the point, Iwelumo was born in Scotland therefore doesn't have to pretend to be Scottish.

He isn't though. But I can see why he would jump at the opportunity to humiliate himself at an international level - and playing for Scotland, he would do that even without missing an open goal from 2 yards.

Right enough, no Englishman has even looked like a fanny while playing for England.

Plenty and often - but its especially good to see this particular Englishman making a fanny of himself playing for Scotland.

He certainly did.

Make no bones about it, this is the single worst miss I've ever seen. And I've seen some crackers. Peter Van Vossen is fondly remembered around these parts for this...

Three desperately needed points - what a relief. It was a shame it was against Stockport though, Mr Yudster cites Stockport as his "other" team.

All we need now is to work out how to win at home. Maybe moving back to Layer Road would be the answer? The fans would prefer it - it might be a crumbling tiny old place but at least you can get there easily by bus, and if you drive you'll be able to find somewhere to park without too much trouble. The new place is rubbish. They've laid on the most convoluted and incomprehensible park and ride systems to get people there - someone I know who lives two and a half miles from the ground (which he would walk except that he takes his little lad with him who can't manage that distance in anything less than half a day) has to drive ten miles over to the other side of town, park, and get a bus back the way he came to get to the match. And they wonder why the crowds are staying away............
