The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Some might say this is a very small issue to have with the Moyles Show...but does anyone else miss the handovers he used to have with Whiley already? I never used to listen to Whiley's show, found it too boring...but I used to love listening to the 10am handover. Seeing how long Chris can keep Whiley talking...who obviously hated having to talk to him, playing sound effects over the start of her songs...and generally finding new and inventive ways to embarrass her.

Since Sara Cox started this week...she just goes straight into the songs! I quite like Cox, she's a funny and 'nice' person, not a hint of nastiness about her(I'm also a sucker for the female northern accent!), but just going ahead and starting your show seems a bit cold...a fact Moyles and crew used to point out when Whiley used to launch straight into her show :D

I'm not the only who misses the handover....am I? :?

I wonder if Moyles is happy not to try to engage Sara in "witty banter" - because perhaps he has a sneaking suspicion she might just be better at it than he is? I would like to hear it though.

I haven't heard the end of the shows all week, but on Friday Moyles finished late due to the Golden Hour over running so I'm guessing Sara just wanted to start the show.

I think Moyles is scared to engage with Sara. She's too quick for him.

He tries to provoke her. I think it's Sara who doesn't want to chat anyway. Which is weird because she's turned into a good presenter. She does suit that slot, I could see her getting it after Whiley if she ever leaves.

No. That wouldn't be it. He's extremely quick witted and clever. He manages to come out with the funniest lines and pick up on someone's slips before most people have had a chance to even digest what was said nano-seconds earlier. My guess is it's something on her end.

I noticed that too !

It was funny as well.

I know you can't read anything into it, but I don't think they get on. They were both seeming to try very hard in each others shows to be nice about each other, but the "Hannah Montanna" did shout at poor Sarah.

I love Sarah Cox. I am very respectful of the talents of Mr Moyles, I really hope they can be friends.

That would have been funny if you'd stayed consistent with the use of surnames!

Can you guess why I didn't?!

Her surname is Cox, which is like *, often used as slang for Penis, so in essence you could have been inferring that he had fears of engaging with willies in general.

That would be the answer to the question "Can you guess why I DID", but the question was "Can you guess why I didn't?"

Well the handovers back, from that i would say they get on as Moyles decided to "engage" with Sara....

Anyway im glad the handovers back as i like the banter between the DJ's.

I dont think there is any tension between Moyles and Cox I just think she cant be arsed doing a handover, too be honest not bothered cant stand the cow anyway with that annoying lancashire accent just find her a waste of space and have never listened to any of her shows on Radio 1.

Different strokes for different folks really.

It seems Mr Moyles checks these boards a lot more than I previously thought. In which case hello, you do a hard job very well.

I agree no tension between them she just didnt seem to want to get involved until this week, but not that bothered like Candyman cant stand her either, I'm off work this week and her show is something I wont be listening too there are better things to listen too and do. Great to look at dont get me wrong, but then she speaks and I just want to punch her out, voice like clawing a blackboard.

It has long been rumoured that he checks here regularly, and not without reason.

Yeah you can't really blame him. The curiosity would kill me to be honest. Maybe we should start making more meaningful and thoughtful posts ;)
