Wow, they were five years ago? I remember them being on the show originally. I'm fairly sure it all stemmed from a feature where listeners got to send in their own interpretations of Clocks. That followed on from both Chris playing the intro on a keyboard for most of the afternoon, but also followed on from a similar feature where people sent in their own version of Will's Music.

Yes, this was just an excuse to mention the frickin awesome PPK-style version. If it had any relevance these days I'd have it as a ringtone!

Ahhh Moped, how could we ever forget them. They even get a mention in this months DJ mag, so the Scooter/Status Quo thing seems to have kicked off a little something. Maybe its time for just one last Moped track, who knows.

In other news (and here comes the plug) our current musical project and everyones favourite post modern Lancastrian folk outfit The Lancashire Hotpots release our second album on 3rd November. The first album got to no 2 in the 6Music album charts and a video on MTV2 so if it can do the same we're laughing.
