Ahaha!

The beginning of this interview was dull, then it moved onto her being subtly jibed at and shown no respect by phil or fern. (which i find amazing) when did they become serious interviewers?

I like how when she's sob storying she's had a breast reduction for her back - but on her MTV show god's honest truth "I wanted to lose weight, but i'm a lazy cos so got the surgery - Watch Whole Again"

oh yah - and the medication she said she was on to help her sleep,

Promazine (marketed as Sparine) is a medication that belongs to the phenothiazine class of antipsychotics. An older medication used to treat schizophrenia, it is still prescribed, alongside newer agents such as olanzapine and quetiapine.

Not a sleeping medication.

At least she promised not to sing again! HOW DRUNK WAS SHE?! It wasn't just her speech it was her whole demeanour! Just as well her 7 year old is capable of changing nappies, Mummy is obviously too busy getting hammered!

Phil and Fern were sat right next to her - if she'd been drinking they would have been able to smell it on her with no trouble at all - and they were clearly of the opinion that she was drunk. They had a lot more evidence to go on than just the way she was speaking, and they seemed convinced.

1) Alcoholism is not funny
2) Drunk celebrities being ripped to bits by Philan Fern are funny

I'm in a quandry with where to go with this.

I agreed with Moyles, I thought Schofield did the right thing by asking and thought they handled it very well. The woman has brought it on herself and if they had pretended there wasn't a problem, they'd have looked stupid.

I can kind of understand why her management company insisted that she do the interview - such people don't really care about the people they represent as long as they've been paid. But why did Mark, who is surely supposed to have her best interests at heart, allowing her to do it? Answers on a postcard........

I just looked up the side effects for the medictaion she said she was on -
http://www.drugs.com/pro/chlorpromazine.html

I can't see anything on there about long term drowsiness or slurring of words - It does say about [possible mild drowsiness effects in the first week or so, but she was supposed to have been on this stuff for years...

I don't think even she actually thinks anyone will believe her about the medication - but what was she supposed to say? "Yep, I'm pissed as a rat"? I really don't like Kerry Katona, and I don't have any real sympathy with her (although it would be great for her children if she could get her life in order) but it does look to me like she was shafted by her "people". Of course she shouldn't have been drinking, thats down to her - but dropping her in it like that isn't the best way to deal with the situation, surely?

Sorry for the double post, but just wanted to say that I thought the telephone interview with Phillip Schofield today was brilliant. Thats should be award winning radio.

Yeah, it was great. Large parts of it have been taken for that article I linked above (and the iPlayer audio on the article, which I haven't listened to, is probably lifted from the show as well.)

Schofield comes across as a genuinely nice bloke.

Aww, she almost looks like she did when she was in Atomic Kitten. Now if she can just stop being a jakey/junky/general nutcase, she might be likeable again.

It was a brilliant interview with Philip this morning, I woke up and thought I was listening to the Today programme.

Absolutely seconded. I stayed in the car to hear it all! Put that in for an award someone!

T'was nice to hear Moyles doing a "proper" almost newsworthy interview for a change. Although it wasn't a subject you could have had fun with it, they could have not done it at all. Very well done.

Its been all over the news today, I first heard Philip today on the BBC News website, I'd guess it got more coverage than Zane Lowe's Eminem interview, which was equally brilliant. And its not often the papers are forced to quote 'The Chris Moyles Show' directly, especially when the story itself had nothing to do with Chris.

Pity most of them quoted it as being "Radio 1" and left it at that. Including Radio 1 themselves.

The problem I have is that I used to like her. In discussions with friends Iwould stick up for her. Now she's spoiled it. Not through this interview, the whole concept of her in the past few years. I felt sorry for her when she split up with Bryan/Brian. I think she used to be quite a funny person, but now she's messed herself up :(

Why is she famous in the first place?

Not one of my usual 'irritated at celebrities' questions, but rather, seriously - why? Was she in 'The Pussy Cat Spice Girls Aloud'?

Whatever she was in, I'd miss her like a hole in the head, she'll never make me whole again.
