The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Is it just me or have they done 1994 before and used most of the same tracks? I distinctly recall having a conversation with a colleague about the year Warren G, Regulate came out and and I'm sure they also played Lisa Loeb & 9 Stories, Stay (I missed you) because they just said it was Lisa Loeb and missed the 9 stories bit.

Sad I know but I'm sure they used to keep track of these so they didn't repeat them?

Shouldn't you be reading the sport?

There's only so many good songs from one year and 94 wasn't that great...s'better than some others I can think of but not much.

Most people listening won't have heard it last time they did 94 so in the grand scheme it doesn't matter.

To be fair, as Andy B said, 1994 was a crap year for music, 1993 & 1995 are great though. 1998 & 1999 aren't much better either.

I drove my dads car to work this morning only to find he had local radio on and they have their own Golden Hour....Time Tunnel! What a rip off! I have now preset Radio 1 on every button and he doesn't know how to change it back. Thats one more listener for Chris :D

That is all anyone needs to know.

and a great tune it is as well. I had the radio on low at work this morning & it was nice to here some classic songs on Radio 1, shame they don't do it more often

Oh right, I haven't listened to the show live for so long I didn't realise  Last time I listened to it live was when Celebrity Tarzan was on air

I think though that they should let them play a mixture throughout the day, all this "youngsters don't like old stuff" nonsense is a load of crap. (management not Moyles, I know on his Capital FM show & Afternoon Shows he used to variate the tunes quite a bit)

Erm you are aware that it's the oldest feature on Radio? It's been done a million times before.

Moyles does it with panache though.

Yep, Pat Sharp & Steve Penk both used to do "The Top Ten At Ten" on Capital Fm back in the 90's. However it's one feature that most don't mind if it's ripped off by other stations, it's a good feature
