Are we human? Or are we dancer?
my sign is vital.
My hands are cold.

And I'm on my knees, looking for the answer.
Are we human? Or are we dancer?

I really like The Killers. And I really like that new song. However - those lyrics really are pretty shit. Are we human or dancer... what?

Was the live gig tonight (Monday) any use? I've not heard it yet. Zanes warm up bit sounded cracking though.

Oh my god. I was talking about this to my friend in the car just this morning as I was utterly confused about the lyrics as well despite liking The Killers. Maybe it's "Or are we denser?".

To be honest I think their lyrics have worsened over time.

Humans are dense enough in my experience. Like the folk Scott Mills was asking who they were voting for in the American election. In London. Why does no one here know WE CAN'T VOTE!!!

Well, if he'd asked American ex-pats, they can vote, can't they?

Apparently Brandon Flowers' explanation is that he was inspired by a Hunter S Thompson quote, that "America was just raising a generation of dancers". That's it.

Brandon Flower said in a interview plus "or are we dancer" makes no sense.

No it isn't. Its a quote from Hunter Thompson, like Nic said - he was the bloke played by Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He said a lot of strange things.

He was on about Reindeer. The line was going to be "are we human, or are we comet?"

It didn't work though.

What the hell was wrong with the first post?

Plus noone has answered if the Killers gig was worth a listen or not. Ive just saved it to the iPhone and need to know if it's worth my 'available listening time' tomorrow (ALT fo those in the know).
