It's a major survey I've got going! Outside of the board McCartney is winning 17-15! Which I approve of! :wink:

Its a difficult one that - John Lennon was great, with songs like Imagine but then Paul McCartney and The Wings - especially Band On The Run, an absoulte classic!

If McCartney got shot in 1980 and Lennon was still alive it'd be the exact opposite as it is now. Its funny how death can resurrects ones career and "coolness".

Princess Diana - need I say more. She wouldnt have been in the top ten british people if she was still alive.

as ive said before i do agree with this partly but i still believe lennon was a superior songwriter......
