Would you shut up, Yuds?! Enough with the show tunes already! Don't you know I'm still trying to get the Barack Obama song out of my head?

I'm not sure what the difficulty is that people seem to be having with the Barack Obama song. Its a bit like a simplified version of one of the phrasing exercises I use with my singing students. Its just a question of using a five syllable lyric with a four beat bar. Think of it as five syllables rather than two words and you can get the phrasing easily.

Hi, I'm new. My name is Elizabeth. I started listening in 2004 and then dropped off a bit when I couldn't listen at my job. Now I record it at night and listen in the morning. I have the Barack Obama song in my head.

Some do on forums - doesn't bother me. :)

Now I have switched to having the Cheggers version of the song. For some reason I thought that was absolutely hysterical, especially when Dave fake messed it up.

I really wish he hadn't stolen my Yudster quote. I have to go find something else now. It's like showing up at a function in matching dresses!

No, but you had at least read this thread and (presumably) this post, which, in my opinion gives it away slightly:

Some do yes. You, however, were at a 'pat ourselves on the back' awards ceremony.

I was at the award ceremony on Friday night Topher - and I was actually bloody ill! The rest of the week I have been at work, from early morning through until either late at night or early the next morning.
