Nope, I'm a Trekkie. Those newcomer Next-Gen+ folk can * right off with their changes.

Leonard Nimoy says that its Trekker, not Trekkie - and if Spock says it, that's good enough for me.

I'd trust Ambassador Spock over Wikipedia any day.

Gene Roddenberry said it is Trekkies, and he invented it. Great Bird of the Galaxy wins.

Roddenberry might have created Spock, but the creation has become more powerful than the creator - Spock says Trekker. I'm not arguing with Spock. Roddenberry can't do the Vulcan Death Grip.

Why are you not arguing with Spock, you argue with me.

I don't know the Vulcan death grip but I can touch my toes still. :D

Do you know, if my older son had been a girl, he was going to be called Eleanor. He knows the Vulcan Death Grip.

And any true trekkie will tell you it's not called the Vulcan Death Grip but rather then Vulcan Nerve Pinch.

Get your facts right women!

I'm not a trekkie thugh. I'm not even a trekker really. I don't even like TOS, it was rubbish. TNG was great though, and everything that came afterwards - except Enterprise. That was weird with the bloke from that other thing and all. And I'm not a fan of the movies either, which I believe you need to be in order to qualify as a trekkie/er. Although The Search for Spock was good.

I do like Stargate, but Trek was there first. The original and the best.

I have never heard the phrase "trekker". Load of pish in my opinion - trekkie FTW.

Stargate's brilliant. Though I did prefer it before Richard Dean Anderson took a back seat.

True. McKay's good in Atlantis though. Shame that's been cancelled as well though.
