I must have missed this announcement? Presumably it'll be at the beginning of January, that's when they started on breakfast isn't it? 12 hours live?! Crikey.

Haven't heard the announcement but they did this last year on 1st Jan, 12 hours of Breakfast. It was all pre-rec'd and just featured some of the best bits of the year. Each hour was a month. I've still got it somewhere?

Who are you asking? I'd imagine you're the only person on here who knows that.

It's quite good, like a huge 12 hour podcast. The last one had some great music as well. Normally from around the time of transmission as well so it was all themed actually who did the last slot? I remember they all took a turn co-hosting with Chris for 2 hours each. Dave, Dom, Aled, Rachel, Carrie........unless Dave did 2 slots or Chris did one on his own. I'm sure that wasn't what happened though. Rob DJ, Matt Fincham, The Ghost of Longman?

Well I'm sure I've got it somewhere but not sure where so I guess I'm asking myself......in a typing out loud kind of way.

Hey all

Yeah it's a birthday show. A pre-recorded 12 hour show with all the best bits of 2008 across the day, but also looking at some of the best bits in all the time The Chris Moyles Show has been on breakfast.

A huge and complicated show. But should be very very funny.

Any suggestions on what you'd like in it?

At least a few song parodies please - even the rubbish ones are funny! Only this morning a colleague and I were reminiscing about 'Will Mellor' and 'Davina McCall'...

Aled. If you're going for all time best bits then the opening 5 minute song / jingle has to be played. It was amazing. Plus I think a nod to the great competitions and features: One road Travel, Celebrity Tarzan, Birthday corner.

One word weather - I was thinking about it today when Nelson Mandela got mentioned. I know it will have no relevance to the actual weather as it will be pre-recorded... but then it's Dom, so that's nothing new.

Definitely parodies too. And a pub quiz, probably one with actual Rob DJ and not pre-recorded Rob DJ.

Another thought - best of the guests. We should get to hear things like Jimmy Carr and Justin Lee Collins again. Green Grass of Home!

On a topical note I always find it funny how every year you pretend to get a message for Dom from Bono and every year he falls for it. The one with the pre-recorded Bono clips was very funny. And when Chris pretended to be in Dublin doing all the voices himself.

I often crack up at stuff on the show but trying to remember it months later is impossible. We need some sort of show diary or review so we can go back and see what's happened.

Justin Lee Collins singing. What a voice. Some of the awful bits - Puff Daddy, Chris Rock - just moments. They are funny with hindsight, although it must have been awful at the time. Fire at Will. And loads more.

A few clips we gotta hear on the 12 hour show...

1. Stephen Nolan and Fat Sue.
2.From 2006, Chris prank calling Lisa on big game TV, absolutely hilarious! http://chrismoyles.net/soundvault/pafil ... =1532&idP=
3. Jimmy Carr from this week.
4. From 2006, Dave tells some jokes..Brilliant. http://chrismoyles.net/soundvault/pafil ... =1559&idP=
5. Liam Gallagher's interview this year.
6. From 2004, the funniest CPC i've heard- http://chrismoyles.net/soundvault/pafil ... =1112&idP=
7. From 2007, Gordon Ramsey on 'secret santa' last Christmas
8. Aled and the dry ice

If that was the Gordon Ramsay interview where they spent half an hour talking about how Gordon stole his mates wife then it definitely should go in. All of those other ideas were great too.

Yeah Gordon on about parking his bike in his mates girlfriends garage should definetly go in too.
Think that was a later interview with him from the week that the show was recorded. The interview I was referring to I sort of remember was from Christmas last year, with Chris trying to guess blindfolded who the guest was...with Gordon fibbing in a dodgy accent with the answers like saying he was never on the show before.I remember it made the jan 1st show last year and it been very funny!
