He isn't even there yet, and its been a brilliant show so far - partly due to the anticipation. And i loved Chris's rant about the PR people - spot on I thought. If he isn't willing to be treated like a guest on The Chris Moyles Show, don't book him into The Chris Moyles Show.

I'm looking forward to this now - that's quite an achievement, bearing in mind 24 hours ago I thought the whole crap thing with the careers stuff was the very devil's plot.

Oooh he's here - sounds ok so far.

I thought it was a brilliant interview - Chris had to work for it, but he did it well and Sir Alan was really good. A triumph.

Hi,
I thought the show was great! Did any of you hear that Chris is asking radio1 fans 2 pick the title of CHICO"s next album? Thats great! Just went on chicomusic.com, really fantastic songs and finaly a chance for Chico 2 move away from "Chico time" Chris has always liked Chico so i think its great that he's helping him out! Go to Chico's website and vote! :D

Very good interview I thought and informitive although the lead up was probably the most entertaining....with the PR people comments and all!
Sir Alan was dead right to have a go about the Chris no-show for celebrity apprentice. if I ever had the chance I would pounce on it.

Loved what he had to say about running an airline, it had quite a few similaritys to myself...My name is John, i've worked as a baggage handler, done check in...and hope someday after Uni to run BA!

The whole show was a classic.

I quite liked the interview....but Sir Alan did annoy me a bit. Moyles kept saying he was looking at the floor to stop himself smiling etc. Why does he have to keep up the 'nasty businessman' facade when it appears he wanted to have a laugh? I thought he would annoy Moyles too considering his opinion of people who use 'stone-faced' radio personas...(was it Lauren Laverne and her girl band he had a go at ages ago?)

So yeah, good interview, but I think Sir Alan should ditch the persona and just kick back a bit!

Yeah, the whole week is supposed to be about inspiring kids to think about their futures, he would have come across as a bit of a miserable old fart to them. Westwood's online questionairre was a clever ploy - you press yes or no a few times, then he tells you a pigeon fancying role would be a 'good look'. Naturally, you're sort of insulted, and by being insulted, it spurs you into action, and you actually think about what you want to be.

Nothing to be taken away from it from a radio perspective, Alan's thirst for a fight, in retrospect, is quite amusing. I even feel sorry for the old fart, he clearly rates Moyles otherwise he wouldn't have stuck his neck out so much and asked him to come on the show. Still, theres always 2011.
