I have to say, after listening to today's show, I think the 70,000 so listeners who tuned out earlier this year are really missing out, the show was absolutely superb, The Golden Era was great, like the new "game" guess the missing words, where prizes NOT up for grabs included a week to New York and Steve Guttenburg was great, he totally got the show & played along greatly.

I agree with all of the above, they are sure keeping me and alot of the nation entertained . Missing listeners thought he had run out of ideas and comedy ... i dont think so !!!

BTW anyone else have the error right near the end of the "play it now" where the last fifteen seconds is a repeat of the previous 15 seconds, if you get what I mean. Either way a classic & recorded

Yes i get that repeat at the end too. On fridays the golden hour replaces carpark catchphrase, Ramble and Tedious link still happen during the week. Fridays however are normally busy as 1hr is full of golden oldies so several features are not used.

Im not sure wether tedious link actually happens on a friday, my guess is that it is replaced as it normally takes place at around 9:00 (9:15 most of the time but Chris is pretty Flexible with time slots which improves the show) and the show ends at 10:00 so the golden hour covers it on a friday. So you need someone elses help for that one as i cannot be 100% certian.

Ah I thought not, it's nice to have one show in the week that isn't the same as the rest, like in the afternoons when Jon Culshaw used to pop in, those shows were great & the one with the golden hour was great as well

Culshaw was a brilliant regular Friday guest. I missed him when he left, but up until I listened to that first show you uploaded, I completely forgot about it.

Yes they were my favourite shows, I think I recorded between 15-20 with him on them (not always Fridays either), I've sent that Saturday show to Chris by the way, so hopefully it'll be up soon

Have to say i've been listening to Moyles since the 4pm afternoon slot and this year has been one of the best for the show, certainly my favourite year of the show probably since the took over the breakfast slot.

Why listening figures are down, who knows but I'm really enjoying the show.
