I think Eddie Izzard explains it best. I never knew what it was about till I saw him explain it. It's probably on you tube somewhere.

The only Eddie Izzard thing I can find on youtube is a bit short and doesn't really explain it. Though now I'm in a watch Eddie Izzard mood. Cake or death?!

Actually, the best turkey incident was Gov. Palin pardoning a turkey while others are being slaughtered behind her. It's pretty epic.

Oh, and small pox killed more Native Americans than guns.
