Hey everyone just moved from Southampton to a place called Beaminster in Dorset anyone know of any good ways of making some decent new friends?Also does Boboff still chat on here as I thought he said he lived in Dorset!Hope everyones ok!

I hear going to buildings that serve drinks (called 'pubs', short for 'public house' I believe) and talking to people is quite a good way. It's quite a revolutionary new thing though, I could be wrong.

Hi Pinky! Good to see you again. You will meet people and get chatting on the Toddler Circuit I imagine (I'm sure I remember you have littlies....?). There is bound to be a mum and toddler group, or playschool - I know the level of conversation in such places tends to be REALLY limited, but its a start!

Of course if I'm remembering wrong and you don't in fact have small children, then please ignore this advice as hanging around such places might mean you ultimately have to talk to other people who might be less friendly.

Thanks Yudster and Zoot!Yeah I did think about meeting up with Boboff wouldnt mind a nibble of his bacon!As for Topher,I was asking for any advice for making friends as I thought someone on here might know of any decent places to go such as social clubs in the area.Clearly though you wouldnt know of such places as you spend all your time on here!!
