Just found your forums!

My first point was a bloomin good car park catchphrase it was today! :D On air karaoke from a caller! He seems to have been on for ages, surely a record!?

Second point, when does Chris' new channel 4 show start?

Thanks...and don't bite! 8)

Chris also said the otherday that Car Park Catchphrase will be ending/rested in the New Year.....

I actually think its a good idea. Hopefully something good will replace it.

Did he say that? I've not heard much of the show this week.

If so, it's a bad bad idea. It's my favourite regular feature by far.

It's nothing more than vehicleist propoganda. Trying yet again to affirm that those who have to rely on public transport are in some way lower quality citizens not as deserving as those with cars or some other sort of motorised conveyance. I for one shall not mourn the demise of this eliteist feature.

I may even complain to the daily mail about it.

There are those who sit in front and drive and those who are driven where they want to go. I'm firmly in the latter catagory. Although if rumour is to be believed I'm having driving lessons forced upon me for Xmas.

I do, but you've clearly put it at the wrong end of that scale.

Not trying to affirm. Merely confirming. Unless you live in central London that is - even so, when travelling outside London you wouldn't want to do anything other than go by car - but if you can afford to live in central London you can afford to hire on those occasions I imagine.

Oh, I should point out that although I drive pretty much everywhere, I get the train into the centre of Edinburgh. I'm not mental.
