Yet more BBC Politics. Someone should punch the touchy morons in the face.

What's the reason for it being dropped, if it's because of the implied beeped swear words I swear I'm going down to the Daily Heil's HQ to leave a big turd on their doorstep!

As of this morning, Lamb Bhuna is by far and away the best parody ever - especially performed Live and Unplugged as it was so brilliantly by Dom and Dave today.

Was it, ah I'll have to tape that one when I get in tonight.

Have to say they're been great of recent, on par with the afternoon shows of 2000-2001 & breakfast shows of 2005-2006 :D

All Chris said was that they were going to have to edit it again in the current climate and he wasn't prepared to do it so they're not playing it this year. It might come back next year when the madness stops.

The beeb need to grow some balls.

The Beeb need to stamp on the balls of the Daily Heil IMO

I listened back to Friday's show on my iPod it is, as someone said above, due to the current climate, but hopefully next year it'll be back

They also need to make up their minds. Remember this time last year and all the fuss because they had decided to edit "arse" from Fairytale of New York? Well, as far as I ca tell, arse is back this year.

I think they beeped 'faggot', didn't they? And then made a u-turn on the decision about a week later after insisting they wouldn't? Also it was just Radio 1 - Radio 2 played the unedited track from the start.

Edit: Yep:

I knew it was something. Well the version I have heard so far this year is complete with arses and faggots.

Yeah, by the end of Christmas last year they were playing the unedited version. I remember the cries of 'publicity stunt' on this very board.

To add to favourite Parodies, I think the Adrian Dixon & Lorry driver ones are superb. But another one I remember is the Mark & Lard song from 1997, if anyone remembers that one  it's on one of those full shows from 1997 on the net somewhere :D
