On the breakfast show, shouldn't it be "tenuous link" rather than "tedious link"?

Depends on what you mean by "should be" and from what perspective. Grammatically it could be tenuous. However it's Chris' show and can call it whatever he likes. He's never been one to follow convention. I.e. Half time of the show with only an hour left.

Um, I think it's meant to parody the Old Radio DJ style of " That was Abba with Waterloo, and if you went to Waterloo you would be in a Train Station, Next Up Then "Train" your ears for the ever popular Boney M, and brown girl in the ring."

Which evidently when done on every link is...... tedious.
