I got a new phone and it doesn't appear to work. It's a Sony Ericsson w910i and it's a lovely shiny red that matches my hair, but it refuses to recognise any sim cards. it's as if I'm trying to put a sim from a different network in the phone and it's locked (which I'm not - both the phone and sims are on orange, all bought new from orange themselves). So a trip to the orange shop for me tomorrow!

I also got the Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Frank Skinner books, some chocolate and perfume from Urban Apothecary from my parents and brother. My flatmate got me a Christina Aguilera canvas print, a bottle of Chanel nail polish and a Bill Bailey dvd. On the re-gifting front, anyone want a Betty Boop makeup bag and compact mirror? My mother seems to have got it into her head that I like Betty Boop. I thought she might be confused with Bettie Page, but she says not. Ah well...

Half a dozen comedy DVDs, piles of chocolate, a new pair of indoor football boots, and assorted other stuff.

Though since my electric razor went on the blink yesterday, I've had to treat myself to a Christmas present too! Got one of the new shape Phillishave numbers that are supposed to be good round the neck (a particularly irritating part of shaving) and that cleans itself while it charges too.

A DVD player, 750GB external hard drive, USB DJ controller for the laptop, HMV vouchers, Jamie's Ministry of Food, a commemorative FA Cup picture in a nice frame, Monopoly Portsmouth Edition where pretty much everything was vying for Old Kent Road's spot, some nice wine glasses (Nan), more chocolate than I could ever eat. Some nice shirts, boxers, socks, dressing gown and of course Dr Who Slippers and Lynx Gift set.

I don't get on with electric razors and there's no substitute for a wet shave.

I may be totally off the mark here, but I think it clearly looks like a boy?

I would also like to echo those congratulations Mr Harris, you must be made up - he's (if he is a he) extremely cute!

That'll probably be because you make sure everyone knows how much you despise Christmas and all that goes with it. You should be pleased, everyone clearly put a lot of thought into it, and its the thought that counts........

And Chris, your baby is glorious, totally beautiful. Was s/he (although I am kind of agreeing with Topher, but you really can't tell.....) actually born on Christmas Day?

Congratulations Mr H. You can now say with some authority that you are the Daddy.
