(Look at me starting two threads in one day, crazy...)

I stumbled onto the Apple web site earlier and decided to have a look at some trailers. 2009 is looking interesting on that front. As I've revealed previously, I'm a Trekkie so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they've done with the new movie, which is coming in May. As is the next Terminator movie which filled me with dread until I watched the trailer... it might actually be quite good, even without an Arnie in sight. In fact, it might be good because of that. Also next summer, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I haven't read the books so I have no idea what's coming.

I'm not sure what new albums will be coming next year, most of the bands I like I've just done new ones! But you never know.

In my own life, I've got a few events to look forward to. A mate of mine is getting married in July, while my girlfriend's brother is doing likewise in August. Those fall in between my first trip to New York... going for St Patrick's Day as I'm told they do it better than the Irish themselves... and another nice holiday in Florida. Ahh, my carbon footprint is going to be massive. But we're all screwed in three years apparently. 2012 seems like another... odd movie to come out next year.

So, anyone else got stuff to look forward to?

At this stage the only thing that looks in any way interesting about the year 2009 is the dog blanket calendar itself, ha. Oh, and I've just bought a new telly, 40inch, and a Playstation 3, I've made a start, I suppose.

Albums? About time U2 released some new pish, in March it'll be apparently. I am looking forward to Terminator - another rebooted franchise, and if my memory serves me correct, Christian Bale is in it.

I've decided that I might try and watch a few Star Treks - I've started to get into sci-fi more lately and I reckon I would probably like it. I'm looking forward to Avatar, but that's not out until December.

I'm also looking forward to 2009, mainly because it won't be 2008. And also Joel will be one (in five and a half weeks!)

Tell me about it! I reckon he'll be walking by the time he's one - he needs very little help standing up and can walk about holding on to a wheely pushy thing he got for Christmas.
