Ye they updated it as BBC Iplayer started redirecting to full URL instead of just the ID. Just a little change they had to make.

I'll just add my approval of the iPlayer Downloader. I just used it to go get the 12 hour show. Four files of about 165Mb each and it was fairly quick at doing them (I had the whole lot in about 30 minutes while I was doing something else).

I've downloaded the files but they won't play as they're mp4/ When I downloaded them it says it's downloading as an iplayer programme. How do I save this as an mp3

use firefox... go thru a UK proxy and listen on iplayer

Best bit of software to look for is iplayer downloader, when you save the file however make sure you put .mp3 at the end so that it'll save as an MP3 file.

Thanks Johnny but when I download it will only save it as an ipl;ayer programme, no option to change it to mp3?
