What does "80 points" mean? I think I understand the A, B, C etc system, but points sounds confusing.....I need to know, Miss Yudster is going to be getting her uni applications in sometime this spring, I need to know the language!

I misread that word, for a moment I thought you had to be a Scientologist of a particular rank or higher to work there.

This is making me smile - about bloody time too. Does anyone except people who are morris dancers think that morris dancing is anything other than a national embarrassment?

At least our national dancing is fun and entertaining. You can't beat Strip the Willow being performed by a bunch of drunkards at a wedding.

I cropped the picture. The full picture has the whole horse with the guy on his back and a traffic cone on the guy's head. It's a well known Glasgow landmark. The boat is the Waverley paddle steamer incidentally, and the Finneston crane is behind my ear.

I was in EK just the other week and honestly I felt more out of place there than I did in the Caribbean. It was weird. That place is a hole though. My parents used to live there for more than 20 years and even they say they can't stand going back now.

I always feel a little out of place unless I'm in Glasgow. Which is weird, since I only ever lived there the first three years of my life. For the majority of my life I lived in a dead end village about 20 miles from Glasgow which I now only go near to see my mum and sisters (I wish they'd visit me more instead of me going there). When I finally moved out I aimed for Glasgow and missed (ie. Paisley was cheaper to live in than Glasgow while still being close enough for it not to bother me too much). I doubt I'll ever actually live in Glasgow again - I like having a house and a drive way and no bloody landlords saying no to satellite dishes... and it's still too expensive.

Why the hell am I randomly spouting stuff about my life on here tonight?!

Maybe it's me Munki, maybe my calling is to be a psychiatrist!

To be fair, living in a flat in Glesgae town centre can't be cheap, and I'm guessing living out in Paisley is a bit cheaper. So long as you don't bump into Foots. I'm not sure exactly where you are in proximity to Glasgow you are, but I visited family in Stonehouse last week and it's still a massive shithole. At least Uplawmoore is a little better though. And as for EK, words can't even explain that mess.

I smiled when I realised that the last time I picked Lou up from college at just after four in the afternoon, just before Christmas, it was dark when I did it. And today the sun was still out. It was setting - quite spectacularly as well - but it was still out.

I have 18 days holiday to use by the end of April, that made me smile - no idea when I can use it though, there always seems to be so much to do and no staff to do it.
