The live streaming is being discussed on other threads...alas I get no opportunity to see any of that, so instead let's have your opinions on some of the other changes to the show, eg:
the absence of Ramble
the new jingles/beds
the absence of CPC (did we have a new quiz instead? I plan to Listen Again to the last hour or so later)
the fact they're having more callers in to the show now (altho that was creeping back before xmas)
and anything else you feel worthy of mention...

I like the jingles and beds... I must admit preferred the old ones, but it won't take long to get used to these ones I don't reckon and then the old ones will be forgotten about.

I also like the more callers thing..... gives him an opportunity to be rude. Did he cut anyone off? I want a return to cutting off stupid people mid-conversation!

I'll also be listening again later. The bit where Dave said about texts from other people and was promptly told to shut up and then said he made that bit up was very funny.

He did cut someone off, a Scouse woman who was rambling about him showing his backside on the webcam. And there were probably others too!

I laughed at that - I think it was because he read out a text from someone in Australia who was enjoying the streaming - they aren't supposed to be allowed to see it outside the UK I think, so thats why it was a bit dodgy. Then he made it worse by pretending to have made it up........

Yeah, new show was good..... Ramble is no great loo sin my opinion.... CPC will be missed though. Enjoyed the Cheggers PQ, but it did seem a little forced - and overly similar to CPC in it methods. Pre-recorded cheggers (Roy) with Chris fixing the result. Why change?!!!

Overall, still the Moyles show, which is what we all love anyway. T'was good to have Chris and the team back. Not being a big TV viewer, the lack of Moyles really did play with my 'normal schedule'.

Loads of good stuff in todays show, Dave's tedious link bed will take some getting used to, but i like it, the new jingles and beds are nice, and the quiz was ok, i think it will get better as time goes on (like beep beep busters did).

My one gripe is the new cheesy song, i love the new uptempo mix, love the new lyrics, but those drums sound terrible, i dont know if it was just me, but they sounded too high in the mix, slightly out of time, no real punch to them, and sounded a bit messy. That's my only complaint.

i dont like the new sound scheme i think that the bed for tedious and cheggers pop quiz are too similar to the main bed. I would also like to see a new out of news feature, like the old days of one road travel. It just feels a tho less of a effort is being made through the whole show feature wise and more emphisise on chit chat. but that my own veiw

listening back to the "out of news" jingles they dont have the punchyness (if thats a word proberbly not but hey) of the old jingles and sound awfully flat to me

They hit the ground running didn't they? The old Cheesy Song felt formal and made Chris sound all enigmatic, now they're just rockin' out, and listening to the first bit - I'm glad I did, it was my favourite part of the show, Paul blended in with the new opening jingle beautifully. The cameras worked wonders, not just from an audience perspective - I'm gonna go all out and say it added to the vibe in the studio, as they knew they were being seen aswell as heard.

Do you even listen to the show? He's been doing various voiceover clips for a long time... in fact (as confirmed by Johnny 1989's show recording) at least since he was on Capital FM, which surprised me.

no no no no! please don't go done the rute of having random callers... they seem fake! It's my pet hate about Scott Mills and his radio 1 clones.

Other than that the show seemed the same to me, opening song, chat, song, chat, news, chat, song chat, some more chat etc... just the way I like it!
