Moyles handles callers a lot better than Mills though - he used to make phone calls very funny on a regular basis in the afternoons.

 Yeah, you only have to hear Melinda's last show (21st Dec 2000, on here) Moyles says "call up to give messages of support for Melinda as it's his last show today" instead 3-4 listeners call up & ask for Bob The Builder, a few do though, with one saying Melinda should stay & that they should get rid of Comedy Dave instead

I think I'm going to copy this in a few moments to see how good it was :D

Do you even listen to the show? He's been doing various voiceover clips for a long time... in fact (as confirmed by Johnny 1989's show recording) at least since he was on Capital FM, which surprised me.

In actual fact if you download this file below you find he was even before then 8O , from his last ever show on the GWR network (although it mentions Horizon, I'm not sure if it was networked between all GWR stations or not)

How far back would that be then 1995, the clips don't have a date on the site unfortunately

What was all that about outside UK-watchers? I'm outside the UK, and I saw it fine today. I'm just worried if my plan of watching tomorrow is in jeopardy... 8O It seems as though things have loosened up with the iPlayer now in relation to radio... all of Radio1 videos hosted on iPlayer are now available to watch, including the best bits video from today.

Because of the unique way the BBC is funded by the British public, blah, blah, blah. Basically they're supposed to limit it because the Heil & Sexpress will basically moan about it asking why foreigners are allowed to watch it for free & British people aint (and they'd use words to that effect as well sadly).

I say good on them if they're letting international listeners watch it (that makes no sense but does make sense at the same time ;)) why shouldn't they?

I have no idea, I didn't listen... it may be dated in his book, I can't remember.

Thanks, I was wondering who they were supposed to be hiding it from. Thanks for the support!

I did think that they played it by mistake at first but I think it worked still, although not as well as with the old Cheesey Song. I rather like the new one with the suped up drums :)

I'm having a hard time with the new guitar-y jingles. It seems to me like the melody of the words doesn't fit the music. I'm sure I'll get used to them...

I don't like Cheggers PQ, i feel that his pre recorded bits just don't work with cheggers...and cheggers every day may get a bit much.

Sounds too hectic and 'wacky', a bit half baked

Bring back birthday corner.

I like flutey intro. It's that early morning time to get up noise. I always imagine the sun coming over a hill when I hear it.
