Today is apparently the most depressing day of all time, mainly because of lack of money and lack of things to look forward to.
So come on people, I burnt my arse on a radiator yesterday - Smile for gawds sake!!!

Haha, that did make me smile very much!

I tell you, after the week I had last week, I haven't stopped smiling much since then. There's no point getting depressed about the economy, there's nothing you can do about it (except do your bit and keep spending - which has been made markedly more difficult for me, as I'm only on 85% of my salary at the moment - but like I said, no point getting depressed about it.)

most depressing day of all time?

Hmmmmm.... Considering its competition, thats a bold claim!!!!

I had a day much worse than this last week, I cut one of my finger nails too short, and it really hurt..... 8O

I was more depressed on Saturday when I tried out my girlfriend's new super dooper weightwatchers scales. Weight, fine. Body mass index, fine. Body fat percentage, obese.

*.

I was also more depressed yesterday due to the football. So if you ask me, I quite like today.

I am liking today. I have been splitting the last of the logs cut in the Summer, and trimming back all the dead stalks around the pond, and you can seen little shoots coming up, along with the bulbs pocking their heads up out of the ground. To me that spells the start of spring and a need to get on with the landscaping and digging that needs to be done so I don't miss out on any of this years growing season. That is not depressing that is LUSH.

Having said that if I had a job I would be feeling fed up.

So Spring is on it's way, get your Sun Holiday booked, and be happy my friends.

I have a job and I'm grateful for it. If I didn't have a job, I'd be fed up (and looking for a job.)

I'd say I'm pretty much always a bit depressed on this date, as it's a couple of days after my birthday and it's just dawning on me how old I'm getting. I woke up this morning and just thought "oh God, I'm 34" and really didn't want to get out of bed.

I've never understood this... you're a day older than you were yesterday and two days older than you were the day before. This is always true. You don't suddenly wake up as a 34 year old, having been 24 yesterday. (I realise I'm stating the bleeding obvious, but this is why I don't understand birthdays being depressing.)

I panicked for about three months before my 30th. I had one of those "where is my life going" existential crises. When I actually got to the day, it didn't seem so bad after all. But generally speaking I don't feel like a person in their 30s and I don't think I look it either (or at least people tell me i don't), so it just gets more difficult to reconcile in my mind as the years pass. Not much I can do about it tho...

This is because you're only 12. You wouldn't understand.

Well this afternoon was depressing. Costcutting emails were abound in my inbox. And I've got my annual review coming up next week now.

Even though I'm not an Aberdeen fan, I feel it my duty on here to say 'haw haw 4-2'.

That is all.

Topher why are you swearing so much at the moment?

Um... I don't know. I noticed this last night and I think it's because I'm around people who seem to be swearing more. I'll try to put a lid on it.

I'm definitely swearing a lot recently. I'm always pretty bad anyway, so for it to be noticably worse with me is a concern.

I noticed it this morning when I read replies below my posts from last night (and consequently my posts from last night). I tend to go through phases of swearing a lot or hardly swearing at all.

As long as you're keeping them on here. I'm doing in the wrong way round - swearing more in real life than on here!
