I have to say I thought Chris was right on the mark, and I think I would say that even if I didn't have children. On the other hand, Baby Yudster was younger than that when I had to go back to work full time and it didn't kill him. Or me. But I think there's probably a difference between a total (temporary, but total) abandonment and a partial one.

Chris was on excellent ranting form all round I thought today, most enjoyable.

Also there's a massive difference between going back to work when you come home each day to look after them and they spend the day in a nursery learning valuable social skills and buggering off for up to 3 weeks with no chance of seeing the kids.

I agree, but under the circumstances thought it would be better to let someone else point it out, if indeed anyone else thought it.

I was today's - first half was just before the 8.30 news I believe, though I could be wrong with that.
