The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I think was one of the best in a while, I actually Laughed Out Loud on the way into work this morning. I do like Jimmy Carr being on the show....

What does everyone else think of it?

It wasn't as funny as "Are You Smarter Than A Five Year Old". But then that was genius, so that's not a slur.

I was in my car listening to it and I was thinking to myself "I'm going to have to post about this handover......" - it was brilliant. Sara is so funny.

Ohh, what was said? I'll have to listen.

I never thought I'd say this, but the few times I've heard Sara Cox recently, I've started to like her a little bit.

I must admit, I never really liked Sara Cox. I used to hate it when she was on breakfast, I would switch off before it got to her in the afternoons, I used to avoid her like the plague when she was filling in for DJs...

Yet now that I've finally given her a chance I'm actually starting to warm to her. Admittedly the handovers have helped. They've been getting better and better. I couldn't help but laugh at her featuring in Ooh What's Occurring this evening when Scott pointed out just how much she has talked about food this week. Not only that, she's got the good music slot on Radio 1 as well now. I know lots of folk couldn't stand Jo Whiley, but I tended to listen for the music more than anything else. Now, I'm enjoying the bits between the music too.

Of course, the final clincher was when I was playing with listen again earlier and I noticed the picture of her Radio 1's web site is using. Again, I've always thought she was a bit of a horse. Maybe she's improving with age.

Mind you, maybe I've just been bitter all this time about the girl I fancied at school declaring I was "wanker of the week".

Never liked the girlie show. I was too young for it. I loved The Word though.

Neither did I. But she did. And of course, because I liked her, I watched it anyway.

I like Sara Cox, she is very funny. Mrs Boboff said that she sounds like someone who would be a right laugh to go out with. Sort of like a lady version of Chris.

Never liked her on the breakfast show although I did like her weekend show and she's not too bad in Jo Whiley's slot.

That really annoys me, I'm such a geek that I go to Sara's show for the first few minutes

Same here, if they can overlap the last few minutes of Moyles into the start of Sara's show then surely they can overlap a bit of Sara's at the end of Moyles.

I'm glad I'm not alone!

I'd have thought that there has to some amount of overlap so as not to miss anything, but it's just that they can only do it on one end of each show (to overlap both ends would just duplicate and be a bit silly), so they choose to do it on the beginning rather than the end if that makes sense.... not that I know, I'm just surmising.

Just be grateful they don't miss the handover full stop.

They've tidied up the start though, it starts right at the end of the last "pip" before you used to get the last couple of moments of the previous show plus the 6:30 news bulletin.

Ah that's true.. that's that theory out the window then.
