And they use 'real women' in the adverts. That used to be one of the brands I answered phones for.

Thanks but how the hell do you know? Also why is there no reference to haggis in your sig, it being Burns Night an' all?

Just checked Google too and there's no haggis on there either, just a plain old Google! Did the whole world forget Scotland this year?

Scotland certainly didn't.

Glasgow city centre was all blue last night. The city chambers had a big picture of Rabbie plastered over the front of it. And it was blue as well.

Nobody actually gives a rats ass about poetry. There, I said it. Now can we all move on?

I'm bumping this as today I found myself switching to Radio 2 15 minutes earlier than usual. I'm not a enjoying the pop quiz very much. Cheggers' attempt to be Roy Walker isn't funny and is more irritating each day. Don't really find the quiz itself that funny either.

Apologies if anyone who does like the quiz is personally insulted. I'm not writing this in an attempt to bring the show or Chris Moyles down. Just giving my own feedback on this particular bit of the show. Enjoying everything else! :D

I enjoy the quiz itself. "True or false?" is a great question, and I like the way they "load in the category" at the beginning. Typical CMS humour.

It's just the Cheggers part that makes me grit my teeth. I don't understand why they didn't try and integrate him in a new way, instead of just copying the Roy Walker style. He's never going to stand up to the comparison.

Yeah, the categories have usually made me laugh the most. The quiz itself seems to flow better than Car Park Catchphrase did too. It's just Cheggers that... bores me to tears.

I agree. Well, by posting our feedback and presuming Aled or someone's reading, there might be changes? :D

Hah.

If they paid attention to what we said on here, Viaduct would have been back aaaages ago!

That said, they did manage a new, albeit health and safety, version of "Fire at Will". Canna complain.

With regards to the Pop Quiz - the quiz part is dandy - play at home fun. Cheggars though... it doesnt work, its trying to be Roy.

Have to say, the Pop Quiz was excruciating listening today. The callers just didn't seem to get it, and poor old Chris sounded like he was pulling teeth trying to get something funny to happen.

I'm not exactly sure why it isn't working, because the format is basically the same as CPC. I don't particularly like the Cheggers bits, but thats not entirely it - the contestants have been the weak link in my view. That woman this morning was simply awful.

But according to most people (not me, I never liked it) CPC did work. You and I might have thought differently, but we were a decided minority there.

No. I liked CPC. I didnt want it to go.

But replacing it with the same thing makes the replacement be compared to the original which is never gonna be as good.

Ergo, why is it not working? Cos it's too similar to CPC.

Oh. Well, I didn't like CPC, ergo, I didn't get that.
