Especially not to Rachel!

It does look gorgeous. I'll have to go up there the next time.

Oh and I heard Nihal's show earlier where he was referring to their climb of Mount Hushmore. A clever take on it I thought.

Scott's show used Dave as their target for Oh What's Occuring. The question being how long would it take Dave to blow the secret of where they were going. 46 seconds apparently. He's so crap, can't keep secrets, can't do basic maths, can't drive the desk. I love him to pieces but seriously how does he keep his job?

Should anyone from management or the Daily Mail read this, Dave is an integral part of the team and to lose him would massively change the dynamic of the show.

What actually is his job? I think he's great too and an integral part of the show, but what is his official role?

D'oh, sorry about that.

I wonder to what degree 'director of comedy' is somewhat ironic, though.

I had forgotten how beautiful it is there.

I'm homesick now. I used to live there. I miss it so much :(

Sunny I'll take you there next time you come over, you'd LOVE it!

The nickname "Comedy Dave" was originally suggested ironically by Moyles, to highlight the fact that Dave, er, wasn’t very funny.

The writer of such classics as "Will Mellor" and "Lamb Bhoona" is funny in my book.

Love,
Dave's Mum.

But Dave IS funny. Although perhaps unwittingly.

I've never seen why King of Tickets shouldn't be brought back.

You'll walk up it with me? I want to do Ben Nevis, too. Neither of my sons have been keen on the idea. Lazy so and so's.

Ben Nevis is my aim this year. Although I'll probably need to convince the others at work that it's a good idea. Either that or start hill walking with my girlfriend.

Really?

Ive already got plans to do such a thing with at least one of the girls from work. And Ben Lomond. I may have mentioned this already, I cant remember.

Yeah. We did a few last year, and there was initial talks of starting this year's walking with Ben Lomond actually.

I really should buy some decent leg gear though. I did all three last year in relatively loose fitting jeans. Better than tight ones, but still not ideal. A trip to Outdoor World is in order when we confirm when we're going.

Ben Macdhui is the highest mountain I've ever climbed, never done Nevis although I expect I will some day. I'm very jealous of Chris, it is my lifetime ambition to climb Kilimanjaro.

Never. I'm still relatively new to the hillwalking thing. The three last year are the only hills I've walked.

(avoiding the obvious joke there...)

Heh

I had missed my own innuendo. That never happens!

Ive never really done anything since the Duke of Edinburgh made me go climbing up in the hills of The Trossachs for three days to try and give me some bloody award. That was about 11 years ago.
