Can't remember if it was here I saw it or not, but I use 'iPlayer Downloader' which is a nifty little GUI downloader made especially for the iPlayer. It automatically converts all the radio shows into mp3 format, which is really handy!
It also downloads iPlayer video files but I haven't tried that yet.

Again, sorry if this is repeated info.

I've been using this for ages and it works brilliant.
For radio shows as it gives a more manageable .mp3 format than realmedia.
However the output file for video is .mp4, which is a little annoying.

Great, thanks for this, downloading Friday's show & as long as it doesn't do that stupid skippy thing that Flashget likes to do I may finally be able to copy shows without having to leave the PC alone for 3 hours & recording everything via Audacity :D

It won't skip.
You get the audio exactly as you would if you were listening on an iPhone.

Yay, bloody hell, you wouldn't believe how tedious it is recording via Audacity for 3hrs30mins each time without going on the net. Now I can download & go on the net at the same time

Thanks for confirming that :D

Well I have to say that the programme TIAL linked works a treat although for some reason on the Firday 6th Feb show it seems to have missed out virtually all of the Lily Allen parody & the bit introducting it before hand :?

My computer was playing up last night though so I'll give it a go again tonight. :D

Is there other links to download. I use to use these but for some reason I've tried downloading these links all week and real player says it wont download as real layer wont pick up my internet connection which isn't true.

So is there another way I can download these to my mp3 player withoit real player?

You don't paste the whole URL into the box, you only put in the code for that show. This can be found in each URL.
So for the above two links, you just need to use:
b00hg7d9
b00hg7y1

Paste either one of them in and it should work.

Apologies, didn't realise you were in the US & that iPlayer didn't work outside the UK.

Unfortunately I don't know what to else to suggest, just hope you (and others outside the UK) can get the problem resolved soonish

The only other way you can do it (and it's bloody long winded) is to hook up a Mini Disc recorder to either your PC to record the stream or connect to the device that uses Sirius, if it's a sky (satellite) based type service & you subscribe to Sirius then most TV's should have a jack on the TV somewhere. That's how I used to have to record Digital Radio for a while back in 2003/4
