I used to work with Christopher Lee's daughter when I worked in London. He came to one of the Christmas parties - it was the one the year before I joined the company though.

I'msurprised the doctors are saying he shouldn't have them removed. If they are typical polydactyl digits then they have no bones and will be prone to all sorts of injury,and will get in the way of his working digits.

The article says they are pretty rare in that they're perfectly formed and are therefore not considered a deformity.

If they are properly formed and function normally then its not polydactylism in the pure sense. If that is the case, I'm with s4b - cute! Although buying shoes will be a nightmare, and what about gloves!
