I bought that when it came out and I was disappointed with it - I liked 'You Held the World in Your Arms' and 'American English', but the album as a whole I found disappointing.

I think it's fantastic. "Live In A Hiding Place", "Tell Me Ten Words" and "In Remote Part/Scottish Fiction" I think are all fantastically written beautiful songs.

Also, listen to "Tell Me Ten Words" again and tell me that the last line of backing vocals before the chorus ("no, no, no, not such a great defeat...") does not sound like Dave. It's unbelievable really.

I wasn't here the first time for this thread, so before I take my turn I'd like to say three things from reading the rest of this thread.

1. We need to being back the breast competition for 2009, smashing idea.

3. I never knew what S4B stood for until today.

Anyway. moving on...

One album - No matter what it is, it will drive me insane. I don't like listening to the same music over and over, no matter how good.
One book - Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy - A Trilogy in Five Parts (all five books in one... so it counts!)
One member of CM.net - Difficult one, you're a good bunch, but I suppose I'd go for Sunny So Cal. One of the few I've spoken to outwith threads.
One member of the team - Dom I think. I'm sure it would be a great laugh. I suppose that would make the album one of the U2 greatest hits albums, though maybe we'd argue over which!
One bottle of alcohol - I could go without alcohol to be honest. I'm only really a Vodka drinker, but I'd prefer that with a mixer!
