The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I'm just somewhat amazed that you've managed to convey your point in a mature and respectable fashion. That tends to be rare around here! especially from "newbies" if I can tar you with that brush.

Tar away, with compliments like that. S4B, would that be Rachel's Bruvva? Don't brothers and sisters usually hate each other anyway (I'm certainly not my brother's biggest fan), so he shouldn't be too put out.

It would be Rachel's brother, and they definitely don't hate each other. Most siblings tend to get that kind of thing out of the way in childhood.

I disagree with you too Ella - but we should celebrate our differences, don't you think?

CinderELLAman and Ella - am I being paranoid?

I'm someone who's opinion on Rachel has changed quite a bit.

When the legend that is Will Kinder left & was replaced by Rachel I was a bit disappointed at first & to be honest replacing Will was going to be a tough but she has proved herself over the years & I think she's great even if she is the most sensible of the lot, but then again that is needed in the show.

I have noticed that since Rachel took over there have been less * during the show, which was a nice little running joke they did when Will was there, blaming everything that went wrong on him

They still blame Will occasionally!

But I agree, she did have big boots to fill. That can't have been easy, but I think she's done a pretty good job.

*looks at cinderalla's posting history*

Is he a former jilted lover of Rachel's or summat?

Anyways I disagree with your opinion of Rachel. I think she's the nicest person on the team! Even though the others joke that she is grumpy, she never says anything malicious or insults people, she just seems to be a 'good' person.

Oh and if they got rid of Rachel, who would produce the show? Aled 'I don't work before 9am' Jones? :P

If she does ever decide to leave I say bring back Greyhead, even if it usually went wrong when he was around

Failing that bring back Rhys ;)

I was looking around for his presence in this debate too! I definitely don't hate my brother either. He's not my best friend, and he lives a good 150 miles away so I don't see him often, but we get along fine.

My siser and I couldn't stand each other until she was pregnant (one reason I owed a lot to Joel even before he was born), so that lasted longer than most people I think... my brother and I haven't argued for ages.

Weird. Actually this thread just reminded me I need to post our kid the dvd of the first four episodes of the new season of Lost, so it's a good job I read it...

Oh yeah, totally. My bro hasn't seen any of it yet so no doubt he'll watch the first four in a batch this weekend. The Sky online podcasts have been really good too - especially the crazy little songs at the end.

Not tried the Sky Podcasts. Only the American ones (Jay and Jack I think it is), but they last about an hour and a half each and are full of ridiculous amounts of detail + confusing theories.

I'll give the Sky ones a go.

Well I like Rachel, her brummy-matron type of attitude lends a good contrast to the sometimes wild humour of the show.
It's a matter of balance for me, which means the show is and continues to be hilarious.
