Ah but should it seeing as he's off the beer at the moment...

Very good effort though, made me laugh!

Brilliant. I do like a bit of variation when it comes to snowmen. Although I can't remember the last time I built one myself!

Thanks guys :)

I have to admit, it didn't start out as Chris Moyles...it just sort of ended up looking like him so we added the pint and stubble :D

The orange juice is a nice touch because as it's become quite clear, he's off the beer.

Haha - yeah, but I laughed. Also, the Beano and Dandy were like sister comics and Desperate Dan used to make appearances in the Beano, as Dennis the Menace did in the Dandy if I remember correctly.

Boboff: Now you mention it, it does look like Desperate Dan but he was in the Dandy not the Beano (Does Dandy have a website)? ;)

They had made cameos once every couple of years for a purpose of a special story but most of the time they were in their respective comics.

Oddly enough although Korky The Cat went through several different artists from the mid 80's until he was dropped in the mid 2000's (I think, one of my Cousins kids had a copy of the Dandy a few years back & boy has that changed since the 90's) every time he made a cameo appearance in the Beano it was always with the Artist that had drawn him throughout the 70's even in stories in the late 90's.

Shame they're not as popular as they once was, they were great for kids. Unfortunately the DC & Marvel comics seem to take over from The Beano, Dandy, Beezer, Topper and Whizzer & Chips

Whizzer and Chips was, I believe, swallowed up by Buster. Buster was awesome.

Oh really, never knew of Buster unfortunately.

Sadly all that exists is The Beano & what is The Dandy but it's nothing like I remember, more of a magazine comic than a traditional one.

Of course Viz is still going but TBH that one is part of the same family as those other ones for obvious reasons ;)

I loved Viz when I was a kid. It had it's hey day in the mid 90's really. Buster Gonad, Billy the Fish, Roger Mellie. Ahh great memories.

Busta Gonad, Johnny Fartpants, Biffa Bacon & Terry F***wit are my faves

I have all the annuals & although you can see the decline in quality over the years I still like Viz, Especially Letter Box & Top Tips

The letters page in Viz was brilliant. And some of the weird adverts they used to have. Ahh makes me want to go out and buy a copy now. I shan't cos it's probably not as good as I remember.
