If you are moving house and are considering their service, JUST DON'T BOTHER!!!!

Sky, Virgin or taking a blunt knife to your genitles is preferable to the service I am recieving from BT.

Ha they do turn up eventually... they just stink. I think it's a job requirement for a telephone engineer to wash a maximum of one day per decade.

My friend Mike, who runs the pub quiz I go to, had an absolute nightmare with BT. They cut him off even tho his bills were paid and couldn't/wouldn't reconnect him, which made compiling the quiz with no internet a bit of an ordeal. He was so annoyed that one evening during the quiz he suddenly announced: "Did you hear that they've caught someone for the abduction of Madeline McCann? It was BT. All of 'em."

When I was in my flat I could get cable and had that for both phone and internet. It was NTL at the time, but was Virgin by the time I left. Sadly my house doesn't get cable, so I had to get a BT landline and I'm with BE Unlimited for internet now.

Took a while to get BE though, they wanted a phone number. Which had to wait until BT connected me.

Which they did.

But didn't tell me.

It was a whole week before I finally managed to get them to confirm that it was connected and what the phone number was. In hindsight I should just have tried it. I reality they should have * told me they'd connected it!

Since then I've had no problems with them though.

I'm with Be too, I like them a lot. They were very quick to get set up too.

The Be part of things was very smooth, and they're pretty fast considering I'm miles from the exchange.

Oddly, when I got my iPhone from O2 they tried to offer me broadband through them too but when I gave them my postcode they said they wouldn't offer me it.

Be and O2 are the same thing. And apparently were when I got my iPhone too. I really should check with them to see if I can save a bit of money because I've got both.

Look BT might be crap, they might be great. I really don't care. All I care about is what is going to happen next with Adam and Jane? He's been being cut off in the middle of a conversation with her about his moving for a new job for AAAAAAAAAGES now, and apart from a few fillers with him taking the piss out of his mate and one - count it, ONE - glimpse of a call to him from a frosty looking Jane, there's been nothing. I need to know what's going on for gods sake.

No, the BT advert series is definitely not a sitcom with him playing a teenage layabout.
